Noise Cancelling
4.0 Great
Effective
noise-cancelling headphones
that can compare to more expensive models.
The active noise cancelling is quite effective. The manufacturer claims up to 30 dB reduction. It isn’t the best in class,
Bose
still rules here, but it’s good enough for the price you’re paying. You can’t really expect premium noise cancellation for a budget price.
When you’re on a plane and the annoying hum is ruining your music or movie, pressing the ANC button feels very satisfying. Immediately, you’ll notice a difference in low hum noises and even some medium-range noises.
Noise-cancelling technology works well at removing ambient noise.
The battery life is good and you’ll easily get over 10 hours of playtime from a full charge. The
lithium-ion battery
is built-in and can’t be replaced. Keep the volume a bit lower and you’ll get more.
Now while 10 hours is quite a long time, there are similarly priced wireless headphones with better battery life. That’s why we’d like to see a better battery in this one.
Charging is done via a Micro-USB cable and usually takes less than 3 hours, 3-4h according to the manufacturer.

Durability
4.5 Almost Perfect
Plastic design with a premium feel.
The materials used are of high quality. It’s impossible to see these are affordable, under $100 noise-canceling headphones. The build quality is good and almost feels premium.
Durable plastics with a flexible, metal headband inspire a lot of confidence.
This pair of headphones can also swivel and fold to fit into the carrying case. They’re well made and if you treat them normally they’ll serve you for a long time.

Comfort
4.0 Great
Good comfort for a long flight, but not the absolute best.
Just like with many faux leather earpads they need some time to get comfortable.
The material isn’t the softest when you first put them on but they do get much softer when warm. You can easily wear them for hours without discomfort.
After warming up, the earpads become much softer.
The headband also extends to fit even the biggest heads. The ear cups aren’t the biggest but most people will still fit them over-the-ear style. You might feel the earpads touching your earlobes but it isn’t too bothersome.

Features
4.0 Great
You’ll be happy with the features and their performance.
The Bluetooth works as intended. Connecting is simple enough, (pressing and holding the power button when off) and the connection is usually stable for at least the usual range of 33ft (10m).
You can connect 2 devices at the same time.
You also have the option of using them in wired mode only, this way you save battery. You can use the noise cancelling even when not
listening to music
at all.

The built-in microphone is decent. It’s not as good as a dedicated call headset or a phone but good enough that most people will understand you.
The buttons are built-in and good enough to not make your crazy. There’s one for ANC on/off and the other 3 on the right earcup for other functions (play/pause, song selection, volume control, calling/hanging up, connecting Bluetooth).
Sound
4.0 Great
Above-average sound quality for ANC wireless Bluetooth headphones.
The sound quality is good as well. You can’t really expect
audiophile
Hi-Fi sound but it has a nice balance of ranges with a slight emphasis on bass. At least that’s our opinion.
If you’re a basshead these won’t be your favorite headphones but you’ll still like them quite a lot. You won’t get an audiophile but still a nice listening experience anywhere you go.
They have that popular, fun
sound signature
.
The
aptX support
does help with sound quality somewhat but isn’t as noticeable. It’s good to have it but it’s not a game-changer.
In the end, you can expect an above-average sound quality for Bluetooth headphones with noise cancellation.
For great value for money noise-cancelling headphones, C3 Hush are one of the best choices you can make right now.
