Directions


  1. Gather ingredients:

  2. Prepare oven and baking dish:

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Generously grease a glass 8- x 8-inch baking dish with butter, and set aside.

  3. Combine ingredients:

    Stir together flour and sugar in a medium bowl until combined; add fruit cocktail with juices, and stir until just combined. Spread batter evenly in prepared baking dish.

  4. Bake cake:

    Bake in preheated oven until top of cake is golden brown, set, and looks dry, about 35 minutes. Remove and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
