Ride Some Horses
The area has several riding centers for burgeoning and expert equestrians, including the Fence Foothills Equestrian Nature Center. Established in 1984, the center has hiking and riding trails, a pond, and a large equestrian center. It regularly hosts horse competitions, like dressage and carriage driving, and it offers a therapeutic riding program. The facility also includes 384 acres of various ecological systems for visitors to explore. There is special programming for school groups and science-based summer day camps for kids, too.
