Why choose a tree house?

Perched high in your tree house in Brittany, your vacation suddenly takes on a whole new dimension. These cosy little nests offer unrivalled peace and quiet. Far from the hustle and bustle, you wake up in the shade of the foliage, delightfully disturbed by the whistling of birds and the creaking of living wood. It’s the perfect opportunity to (re)connect with nature and its treasures.

Take a breath. Take your time. Time to observe the twigs of a leaf, like the sun’s path from morning to nightfall. Give way to the child in you, the one who played with two pieces of wood, ran through puddles and wandered with his head in the stars.

  • 📍 Location: Quistinic
  • 🌿 Ecological score: 9/10
  • 💙 We love: the wellness area, ideal for a stopover that invigorates body and mind.

Our first treehouse in Brittany, La Vallée de Pratmeur, is nestled in a family estate in the heart of Morbihan. This huge property is surrounded by Druid meadows and rolling woods.

As soon as you step onto the path leading to your cozy little nest, the charm takes hold. The pretty paths winding through the twenty-five hectares seem straight out of a fairy tale. Hair gallops by the stream, ponds glisten in the sun and the dense forest murmurs its melodies.

Then you arrive at the foot of your tree house. Or rather, at the foot of two perched dwellings linked by footbridges. The tree houses have terraces and are ideal for lovers or families. Resolutely ecological, the cabins are without water or electricity. But rest assured, every comfort is guaranteed!

To complete this unusual accommodation, you’ll find a vast wellness area, a 120 m2 trampoline net stretched between the trees and numerous activities for young and old alike.

The Manoir du Treuscoat, with its land and sea identity, has been overlooking Finistère since the 15th century. Already a singular place, it offers a number of unusual accommodations set in over sixty hectares of greenery.

Among them, tree houses with their phantasmagorical, original and seductive shapes. They’re the perfect little roof for families, friends and lovers alike. All you need is the desire to slow down, to find yourself in the heart of nature, to reconnect with your primal instincts and your childlike side.

In this little corner of Brittany, halfway between the Bay of Morlaix and the Monts d’Arrée, you can also enjoy a secure net course, a wellness area with sauna and jacuzzi, an equestrian center and a café-bar where you can stretch out your evenings before returning to your perched cocoon.

Although the unusual accommodations feature only dry toilets and use renewable energies, the estate provides all the necessary comforts. What’s more, the woods that crown each tree house are carefully managed, and travelers are given a charter of good conduct. The eco-friendly policy continues with good waste management, food sourced from short circuits and several collaborations with local businesses.

Finally, Le Manoir du Treuscoat is ideally located, just minutes or tens of minutes from castles, coastal paths, valleys dotted with stone statues and greens that will delight lovers of white balls.

Brittany’s latest treehouse, La Belle Verte ecolodge offers an atypical wellness break in the countryside. An unusual, 100% natural experience for the whole family. The ecolodge focuses on children’s activities and animal welfare, and is undoubtedly one of the most eco-responsible of our tree houses.

Theunusual accommodation, which has been awarded the European Ecolabel label, is entirely designed to reduce the ecological footprint as much as possible, and is heated by a wood pellet boiler. Under apple trees and surrounded by farm animals, the tree houses offer a deep immersion in nature. You wake up in the Breton bocage, surrounded by hundred-year-old oaks and gourmet cherry trees. You stroll through a century-old orchard, a vegetable garden and a flowering fallow. Children can pick raspberries and visit the animals on the mini-farm: sheep, chickens, goats and cats will keep you company!

The perched cabins are all made of wood, the bedding is ecological and the toilets are dry. The Green Attitude is also embodied in the composting of organic waste, the use of photovoltaic panels, solar-heated water, low-consumption equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products.

At La Belle Verte, we take care of ourselves and others: we eat organic and local produce, bask in the Nordic bath under the stars, stroll in the forest and pick fruit from the orchard. Soft mobility is also encouraged, with bike rentals and a free recharging station for electric cars.

Finally, the tree houses are close to the magical Brocéliande forest, castles and feudal towns. Although too far to see from your headland, Mont-Saint-Michel, Rennes and Laval are only an hour away.
